Project Overview

FUSION VR: Bridging Worlds is a 3-month collaborative project between Teesside University and Hong Kong Baptist University. Students merged British and Hong Kong cultural festivals to create a virtual museum, where visitors can play interactive mini games and explore the museum of captivating displays at their own pace. We hope that visitors to the museum learn about our festivals while also having fun!

Our team want to showcase a diverse range of cultural similarities, but also differences so that they can be celebrated. In the joy of cultural exploration and interactive elements that bring our exhibits to life. We hope your visit to this museum leaves you with cherished memories and a new found appreciation for the rich tapestry of our shared human heritage.

In July 2023, students from Teesside University flew to Hong Kong to collaborate with students from Hong Kong Baptist University. We were inspired by our cultural experiences and the architectural design of some of the landmarks in Hong Kong.
